Helping Our Neighbors in Need - Sumer 2009

Midland teamed up with Gernatt Asphalt of Collins, NY on a mission to help in the relief effort for areas recently affected by flooding. Together the two companies were able to donate $2,000 worth of school supplies to the Gowanda and Silver Creek (both public and parochial) school districts. The supplies were well-recieved and students and parents alike were very grateful for the donations. Midland and Gernatt were just glad they have the ability to help out with the education of our local youths.
APWA 2009 Congress and Exposition - 9/13-15/09

This year the annual APWA congress and expositionis being held in the heart of Columbus, OH. The theme this year is "2009: A Year of Change". AASHTO AAP R18 Accreditation - 12/22/08
Midland Asphalt Materials Inc. is now partaking in the AASHTO proficiency sample program in addition to the AASHTO acreditation program (AAP). As of December 22nd, 2008, our laboratory was granted accreditation in Emulsified Asphalt.
